Tulloch Wines Welcomes You to the Wonnarua Wine Tasting Experience

Immerse yourself in the rich culture and traditions of the Wonnarua Nation and people with our exclusive Wonnarua Wine Tasting Experience at Tulloch Wines. In collaboration with local Wonnarua Elder, Uncle Warren, this experience is a tribute to the land and community we call home. For every booking made, $5 will be donated to the Wonnarua Nation Aboriginal Corporation, supporting the health and education of local First Nations youth.

ANIGUNYA (hello & welcome) to Tulloch Wines! Step onto the sacred land of the Wonnarua people, the original custodians of the Hunter Valley, and embark on a journey like no other. Begin your morning experience with a virtual Welcome to Country Smoking Ceremony, led by Uncle Warren, against the backdrop of the majestic Brokenback Mountain. Listen as Uncle Warren shares the captivating history and culture of the Wonnarua Nation, including the tale of the great spirit Baime and the creation of Kawal, the wedge-tailed eagle.

Following this immersive introduction, indulge in a unique Wine Tasting experience showcasing two of our finest sparkling wines - the Vineyard Selection Cuvée and the Cellar Door Release Verscato - alongside our exquisite 2023 Hunter River White Semillon. Delight your palate with a shared 'Brunch board' featuring indigenous bush foods and botanicals sourced from local business Oztukka.com Savour the flavours including Strawberry Gum-infused Chia Pudding with Davidson Plum Jam, Smashed Avocado and Smoked Salmon with Macadamia Nut Dukkah, Hummus with Saltbush, and Cheddar Cheese with Bush Tomato Relish.

Advance booking is required for all visitors, and we offer accessible parking and seamless entry to our Cellar Door for those with specific access or mobility needs. Guide and support dogs are also warmly welcomed inside our premises and other dogs on the balcony.
